About the role
A Registered Nurse (RN) in the Recovery/PACU unit will provide care appropriate to the condition and age of the patient, perform accurate patient assessments, and identify patient needs.
Responsibilities
- Accurately perform patient assessments and identify patient needs.
- Identify and initiate appropriate nursing interventions.
- Provide care appropriate to condition and age of the patient.
- Perform timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record.
- Complete and revise the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient.
- Perform timely and accurate QI assessments.
Requirements
- Current state RN license.
- Associate's degree from an accredited nursing school.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required).
- ACLS and PALS certifications within one year of hire.
- One year of experience preferred.
- ASLS certification preferred.
