About the role

Open to experienced RNs with 2+ years of PACU RN experience.

Summary

• Phase I PACU located on the 1st floor.
• Variety of post‑operative patients: orthopedics, neurosurgery, OB/GYN, plastics, gender affirmation, robotics, and all cases except open‑heart and transplant.
• Excellent teamwork and a fun environment with lower turnover.
• Part of a state‑of‑the‑art surgical pavilion that opened in August 2020.
• Lower call frequency.
• Opportunity to be cross‑trained to Pre‑Op.
• Unit‑based PRN roles available.

Qualifications

• ADN, BSN, MSN, or CNL from an accredited School of Nursing.
• Active RN license (MD or Compact State) and Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (AHA or American Red Cross).
• ACLS and PALS preferred, or PALS certification within 6 months of hire.

Requirements

• 1 year of RN experience required.
• For the full‑time role, 2+ years of PACU RN experience strongly preferred.
• Experience with ventilators a plus.
• Unit‑based PRN: 4 shifts in 6 weeks, including two weekend or night shifts, and 1 holiday or hard‑to‑fill shift annually.

Pay

Hiring range: USD $36.50 – $60.34 per hour.

Schedule

Full‑time position with a rotating schedule: 4 shifts in a 6‑week period, two of which are weekend or night shifts, plus one holiday or hard‑to‑fill shift each year.
