About the role
RN Clinical Nurse in an outpatient burn unit, providing high-quality, safe patient care within a multidisciplinary team.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments
- Develop individualized care plans
- Deliver relationship-based, patient-centered care
- Practice evidence-based nursing standards
- Collaborate through effective communication with the healthcare team
- Participate in performance improvement initiatives
- Support research initiatives
- Serve as a preceptor or mentor to foster professional development
- Contribute to protocol development to optimize patient outcomes
- Ensure compliance with policies, standards, and regulatory requirements
Requirements
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (preferred)
- Current RN license (single state or multi-state compact)
- Minimum of 1 year recent acute care nursing experience
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, or ARC equivalents (required upon hire)
