Responsibilities

  • Assessing patient condition and environment to recognize changes, manage pain, and ensure safety
  • Performing expert procedures and medication administration, including pain relief and fluid therapy
  • Delivering advanced wound care and dressing changes, monitoring responses, and acting swiftly to promote healing and comfort
  • Collaborating with a dedicated multidisciplinary team to provide seamless, patient-centered care
  • Partnering with a skilled team that's deeply committed to this unique population

Requirements

  • Current licensure in the State of Colorado as a Registered Nurse, or current active multistate nursing licensure
  • Certified BLS from American Heart Association or ARC
  • Graduate of a certified School of Nursing school
  • One or more years of acute RN experience
  • Inaptient or outpatient burn or wound care experience preferred

Qualifications

The Registered Nurse demonstrates advanced knowledge, skills, and understanding of the unique aspects of the burn population. They must also have specialized skills and be able to rotate to different areas and perform only duties for which they have demonstrated competency.
