About the Role
Provide high-quality, safe, patient-centered care within an interdisciplinary team in the Orthopedic Surgical Unit. Perform clinical assessments, diagnostics, planning, implementation, and evaluation using evidence-based practices. Partner with patients and families through effective communication, education, and shared decision-making. Coordinate and document safe, efficient care to promote positive patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with team members and participate in performance improvement initiatives.
- Support a respectful, inclusive environment for patients and staff.
- Engage in professional development, serve as a preceptor/mentor, and uphold nursing standards aligned with regulatory and organizational policies.
- Promote evidence-based practice, research, and quality initiatives to improve patient care.
- Contribute to protocol development and resource management for optimal outcomes.
Requirements
- Active RN license (single-state or multi-state compact).
- BLS certification.
- Less than 1 year of clinical experience preferred.
- Strong clinical, communication, collaboration, and critical thinking skills.
Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (preferred).
