Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) | Med Surg | PRN

Position Highlights

• 6:45pm-7:15am, PRN with every 3rd weekend and holiday
• $3 SHIFT DIFFERENTIAL available for hours worked between 7p and 7a, $2 on weekends, and $5 on weekend nights!

LPN Job Summary

The LPN practices under the supervision of a registered nurse, advanced practice registered nurse, licensed physician, or other health care provider. The LPN organizes and directs those aspects of care for which he/she is accountable; communicating and coordinating care with well-defined nursing diagnoses, including all health team members.

What You Will Do

• Reviews physician prescriptions
• Communicates the nursing care plan and all pertinent information to other members of the health care team
• Counsels patients, families, and friends about their conditions, medications, and self-care skills
• Teaches healthcare requirements
• Evaluates patient care
• Maintains a safe, secure, and healthy patient care environment
• Documents patient care services
• Keeps patient care equipment operating
• Keeps patient care supplies ready

Essential Qualifications

• Must be able to work the hours specified
• Active license in the state of practice

Required Education, License/Certification, Or Work Experience

• Registered Nurse (RN) - Board of Nursing

Preferred Education, License/Certification, Or Work Experience

• 1-3 years Experience working in a clinical environment
