Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - PRN

About the role

We are seeking PRN Registered Nurses (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) to join our team at St. Dominic Villa. Located in the picturesque driftless region of southwest Wisconsin, just south of Platteville and a short 10-minute drive from Dubuque, Iowa, St. Dominic Villa offers long-term skilled nursing care and short-term rehab to older adults.

Responsibilities

• Work six shifts per month; at least three shifts must be on a weekend; work one summer and one winter holiday (as available).
• Provide prescribed medical treatment under the general supervision of a registered nurse.
• Identify, provide for, and accept responsibility for the fulfillment of resident’s total nursing needs. This includes all nurse practice activities up to and including assessments, medication administration and monitoring, documentation, while ensuring the provision of person-centered care.

Requirements

• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Wisconsin.
• Active CPR.
• Knowledge and/or experience in geriatrics.
• Knowledge and/or experience with state and federal regulations.

Pay

• LPN: $26.50-34.00 per hour, based on experience.
• RN: $35.50-$45.00 per hour, based on experience.

Schedule

• 8 hour or 12 hour shifts available.
• AM, PM or NOC shifts.
