More About Our Team Fauquier Health's ICU is home to Critical Care trained physicians, making us a unique community hospital that provides 24/7 critical care intensivist coverage. Our ICU provides the services our community needs close to home. The Nurse Residency program is a 12-month program with extended orientation, clinical experiences, and classroom time to facilitate transition to private practice. Throughout this program, new nurses gain the opportunity for clinical growth and development through continuous support from experienced mentors and preceptors. Fauquier Health is a 97-bed acute care hospital offering surgical services (including robotics), a 24-hour Emergency Department, extensive medical imaging capabilities, an Intensive Care Unit and much more. The system offers patient care for a variety of specialty services including Orthopedics and Spine, a Cardiac Catheterization Lab, and robotic-assisted surgery. The fourth floor of the hospital is devoted to our Family Birthing Center and Intermediate Care Nursery.
