Registered Nurse (RN) - NICU - Baptist - Nights
About the role
We are seeking a leader in the provision of patient care using the nursing process within the framework of the Nurse Practice Act, ANA Code for Nurses and Scope & Standards of Practice. This role involves effectively delegating, directing, and assisting licensed and ancillary team members, while assuming accountability for quality patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Achieve quality patient outcomes through the nursing process.
- Communicate, delegate, and manage nursing team resources appropriately.
- Evaluate and promote changes to achieve optimal outcomes.
- Adapt behavior to specific patient populations, ensuring privacy and clear communication.
- Perform other related duties as required.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred.
- Current RN license in state of practice.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- Certification in Clinical Specialty Area preferred.
Qualifications
Proficiency in using computers, software, and web-based applications. Effective verbal and written communication skills, along with excellent organizational and time management abilities. Demonstrates professional responsibility and accountability for his/her own practice and supports the company's philosophy of nursing.
