About the role
This position provides registered nursing and facilitation services for assigned clients within our Raleigh programs. The nurse is responsible for assessment and interventions for assigned residential clients, designing and implementing treatment strategies based on scientific nursing theory, evidence-based practice, and principles to promote health and medical stability. The nurse also provides training to clients, family members, and staff on promoting health, wellness, and medical stability, and directs the practice of LPNs and/or CMAs on the unit. Participation in the program’s on-call rotation is required.
Responsibilities
- Assess and intervene for assigned residential clients.
- Design and implement treatment strategies based on scientific nursing theory and evidence-based practice.
- Provide training to clients, family members, and staff on health, wellness, and medical stability.
- Direct the practice of LPNs and/or CMAs on the unit.
- Participate in the program’s on-call rotation.
Requirements
- State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN), preferably with a degree in nursing (BSN).
- At least 18 years of age.
- Valid driver’s license and responsible driving behaviors.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.

Schedule
Monday–Friday, 1st shift.
