About the role
Position Purpose: At Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center, the Registered Nurse (RN) in the Intensive Care Unit (MSICU) delivers patient care to individuals in critical condition.
Responsibilities
- Assume responsibility for Critical Care Patients, conducting assessments, devising care plans, and adjusting critical drips to ensure hemodynamic stability and appropriate sedation levels.
- Attend to patients requiring advanced monitoring, heightened observation, utilization of invasive equipment, and administration of intricate medication regimens.
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program with an Associate’s degree in Nursing is required.
- Valid RN license in Connecticut.
- Candidates with a minimum of one year of acute inpatient nursing experience will be considered for training.
Qualifications
- BLS/CPR certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross).
- ACLS certification, support available for certification post‑hire.

Pay
Hourly position, included in RN Step Program pay range: $36.15 to $59.95.
Schedule
Full‑Time: 36 hrs/week – Night Shift; rotating weekends and holidays.
