Full time, 12-hour night shift (7:00 p.m. – 7:30 a.m.), 72 hours per week, every other weekend and rotating holidays in accordance with CBA.

The RN facilitates all aspects of the patient visit experience.
Responsibilities
- Deliver evidence-based, individualized patient care as part of an interdisciplinary team.
- Facilitate all aspects of the patient visit experience.
- Maintain familiarity with hospital and department policies and procedures, accepted methods of requisitioning ancillary department services, and familiarity with the medical staff (typically acquired through 1–3 months of orientation).
- Maintain current nursing knowledge, BLS certification, and required continuing education units (CEUs) for relicensure.
- Articulate and demonstrate commitment to the philosophy, values, mission, and vision of the organization.
Requirements
- Graduate from a state-accredited school of professional nursing.
- Current State of Michigan Registered Nurse license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- For Staff Registered Nurse positions within specialty areas, prior employment experience in the appropriate clinical setting is preferred.
- OB/Nursery/Pediatric experience preferred.
Special Care Nursery Requirements
- Complete NRP within 3 months of orientation.
- Complete STABLE within 6 months of nursery orientation.
- Orientation includes portions of NOEP (AWHONN's Neonatal Orientation Education Program) and shadowing assigned NNP’s.
- Maintain nursery competencies and annual education requirements.
