Registered Nurse (RN) - Mother Baby
Responsibilities
- Providing individualized, high-quality, safe patient care within an interdisciplinary team.
- Applying evidence-based nursing practices using the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, evaluation).
- Delivering relationship-based, patient-centered care that respects cultural diversity and involves patients and families in care planning.
- Ensuring effective communication through interdisciplinary rounds, bedside reports, and patient education.
- Collaborating with team members to coordinate safe care, documenting accurately, and promoting respectful, inclusive environments.
- Supporting performance improvement initiatives, research, and shared governance activities.
- Serving as a preceptor or mentor to foster professional development and a healthy work environment.
- Participating in protocol development, quality improvement, and resource management to optimize patient outcomes.
Qualifications And Skills
- Associates, Diploma, or Bachelor’s Nursing degree (Bachelor’s preferred).
- Current RN licensure and certifications including BLS, NRP, and multi-state RN license.
- Minimum 5 years of direct patient care experience.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.
- Proficiency in healthcare technology, critical thinking, and time management.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and respond decisively to emergencies.
