About the Role

Join our skilled nursing team as a Registered Nurse, providing specialized care to patients in orthopedics, cardiac, respiratory, oncology, palliative care, infections, neurology, and dermatology. You will assess patient needs, implement care plans, and utilize the latest technology as part of a strong interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Perform treatments including wound care, irrigations, IV therapy, tube feedings, chest tubes, and peritoneal dialysis.
• Administer medications as prescribed by physicians and advise patients and families on medication changes, treatment plans, and patient condition.
• Provide preventative and supportive care for the physiologic and psychosocial well-being of patients.
• Oversee the Nurse Aide team, including direction, assignments, training, and evaluations.
• Promote hospitality and excellent customer service in daily interactions with patients, families, and visitors.
• Foster a positive, healthy environment for healing and recovery through encouragement and support.

Requirements

• Current Michigan RN license and CPR-BLS certification.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (or higher).
• High level of analytical abilities to create personalized care plans and implement effective nursing care.
• Excellent customer service skills with a commitment to delivering compassionate, innovative care.
• Team-oriented mindset, dedicated to supporting colleagues and achieving goals.

Pay

• Starting base rate: $38.00 per hour.
• Shift premium: $4.00 per hour for afternoons and nights.
• Hero Pay: $3.40 per hour.
• Earnings up to $45.40 per hour.
• $10,000 sign-on bonus for RNs.
• Yearly wage increases.

Schedule

• 12-hour shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM for afternoons).
• Rotating weekends and some holidays.
