LPN Nurse - Midnights

Our Skilled Nursing team delivers specialized care to patients across a variety of areas such as orthopedics, cardiac care, respiratory health, oncology, palliative care, infectious diseases, neurology, and dermatology. You’ll have the autonomy to evaluate patient needs and administer care as you see fit, leveraging cutting-edge technology and being an integral part of a robust interdisciplinary team.

Pay

• RN: $33.55 - $38.55 per hour
• LPN Starting Wage: $30.15 per hour
• Plus $3.40 per hour Hero / Hazard Pay
• Plus $5.00 per hour for 2nd and 3rd shift hours

Responsibilities

• Promote hospitality and excellent customer service in daily interactions with guests, their families, and visitors through kind words and encouragement, fostering a positive, healthy environment for healing and thriving.
• Perform a variety of treatments, including wound care, irrigations, IV therapy, tube feedings, chest tubes, and peritoneal dialysis.
• Administer medications as prescribed by the physician and advise patients and families regarding changes to medications, treatment plans, and patient condition.
• Provide preventative and supportive care directed to the physiologic and psychosocial well-being of patients.
• Oversee the Nurse Aide team including giving direction & assignments, offering training, and contributing to recognition and evaluations.

Requirements

• A current license to practice as a Practical Nurse (LPN) in Michigan.
• Current CPR-BLS certification.
• An Associate's or Bachelor's Degree, or higher.
• High level of analytical abilities to prepare personalized care plans, implement effective nursing care and rehabilitation, and develop solutions to difficult problems concerning well-being.
• Excellent customer service skills with a commitment to delivering Excellent, Passionate, Innovative care.
