Compensation

  • Starting Wages at $38.40-$50.34 per hour per hour Wage Calculation is based on experience, shift, a $3.40/hr Michigan Direct Care Incentive, a $5.00/hr weekend warrior program.

Job Functions

  • Initiates and leads team conferences in development of individualized nursing care plans.
  • Affirms and documents the resident's condition and nursing needs.
  • Accurately and promptly implements physicians' orders.
  • Schedules and directs the nursing staff to extent permitted by state practice act.
  • Administers medications, starts IVs and performs treatments for assigned residents, and documents that treatment as required company, and local, state and federal rules and regulations.
  • Coordinates nursing care of residents when scheduled for therapy or procedures by other departments.
  • Interviews applicants and recommends hires.
  • Participates in counseling, disciplinary action, and termination of staff, to extent permitted by state practice act.

Qualifications

  • Education: Graduate of accredited RN School of Nursing.
  • Licenses/Certification: Valid RN license in the state employed. Valid CPR certification.
  • Experience: One year of nursing experience preferred.
