About the role

The Registered Nurse (RN) at Arbors at Streetsboro is responsible for planning, coordinating, and providing comprehensive nursing care to residents. This position also involves supervising and guiding clinical staff members, administering medications, and ensuring the efficient use of resources.

Responsibilities

  • Initiates and leads team conferences in the development of individualized nursing care plans.
  • Affirms and documents the resident's condition and nursing needs accurately and promptly.
  • Assigns nursing care to team members according to the resident's needs and their capabilities and qualifications.
  • Supervises, directs, and evaluates LPNs, LVNs, and CNAs.
  • Administers medications, starts IVs, and performs treatments for assigned residents, documenting these treatments as required by company, local, state, and federal rules and regulations.
  • Participates in orientation and in-service training for personnel.
  • Assists physicians with special tests and procedures within the scope of the Nursing Practice Act.
  • Ensures that supplies are used economically and that equipment is clean and maintained safely.
  • Reports and documents pertinent observations and reactions regarding residents.
  • Collaborates with other departments to coordinate nursing care for residents undergoing therapy or procedures.
  • Interviews applicants and recommends hires.
  • Participates in counseling, disciplinary actions, and terminations of staff, to the extent permitted by state practice acts.
  • Schedules and directs the nursing staff to the extent permitted by state practice acts.
  • Performs other tasks as assigned.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing.
  • Valid RN license in the state employed.
  • Valid CPR certification.
  • One year of nursing experience preferred.

Pay

Starting Wages at $40.00-$50.00 per hour. Wage calculation is based on experience, shift, a $5/hr weekend warrior program, and a $2.00/hr Perfect Attendance Bonus. Flexible pay options are available through UKG Wallet.
