Registered Nurse (RN) Night Shift

About the role

Blue Springs Wellness & Rehabilitation is seeking a Registered Nurse to join their team. The ideal candidate will provide nursing care within the scope of practice to ensure patient needs are met according to standards of practice, physician orders, center policies, and legal guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Follows established procedures for charting and incident reporting.
• Fulfills company procedures for narcotic counting, pharmacy orders, and restraint reduction.
• Documents any changes in patient conditions, including nutritional issues, infections, skin conditions, weight loss, or other noticeable changes.
• Utilizes the Quality Life Manual for identifying, placing, and monitoring patients in appropriate programs.
• Notifies relevant departments of any patient room changes, leave of absences, new admissions, or discharges.
• Makes rounds with physicians as needed.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in the practicing state.
• Current BLS/CPR certification or willingness to obtain one.
