Registered Nurse (RN) - MedSurg/Acute Care/Post Surgical/Burn/Bariatric Unit

Role Overview: The RN Clinical Nurse is an integral member of an interdisciplinary team dedicated to providing high-quality, safe, and patient-centered care. They practice within a clinical environment guided by evidence-based standards, professional models, and organizational values, ensuring compliance with licensing and ethical standards. Key Responsibilities Perform the nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation—using critical thinking and individualized care.Deliver relationship-based, culturally competent patient care tailored to specific populations.Partner with patients and families through effective communication and shared decision-making.Coordinate safe, team-based care, ensuring timely documentation and fostering a respectful, inclusive environment.Participate in performance improvement, research, and evidence-based practice initiatives.Serve as a preceptor or mentor to promote professional development and a healthy work environment.Support resource management and develop protocols to enhance care outcomes. Qualifications And Skills Minimum of 2 years of direct patient care nursing experience.Current RN license (single-state or multi-state Compact) and BLS certification.Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred.Strong communication, interpersonal, critical thinking, and time management skills.Ability to operate technology effectively and respond decisively in emergencies.
