Registered Nurse (RN) - Medical Surgical - PT Night Shift

About the role

The Registered Nurse (RN) position on the 4W Medical Surgical Unit at Christiana Care - Wilmington Hospital in DE is seeking an experienced professional to join a dynamic and supportive team. The unit caters to a diverse patient population with specialties including general surgery, orthopedics, plastics, bariatric surgery, trauma, and telemetry monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive patient care in a fast-paced environment.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure patient safety and quality care.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
• Document patient care activities accurately and timely.
• Participate in ongoing education and skill development.

Requirements

• RN licensure or eligibility for licensure in the state of Delaware.
• BSN required or commitment to obtaining a BSN within three years of hire date.
• One year of nursing experience in an acute care setting.
• BLS Certification is required.

Qualifications

Pay

The hourly pay range for this position is $41.28 - $66.05, reflecting Christiana Care's commitment to providing competitive compensation based on individual qualifications and experience.

Schedule

This is a PT Night Shift position, working 44 hours bi-weekly, with shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with a 20% night shift differential.
