Registered Nurse (RN) - Medical Surgical - Night Shift

About the role

The Unit 4 West patient population includes a wide range of specialties such as general surgery, orthopedics, plastics, bariatric surgery, trauma, and medical patients requiring telemetry monitoring. There are many opportunities for nurses to learn new skills, expand clinical knowledge, and gain valuable experience in a fast-paced environment. The unit consists of a knowledgeable nursing team that consistently provides excellent, high-quality patient care in a supportive and positive atmosphere.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in accordance with established policies and procedures.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Document patient care activities accurately and timely.
• Participate in ongoing professional development activities.

Requirements

• RN licensure or eligibility for licensure in the state of Delaware.
• BSN required or commitment to obtaining a BSN within three years of hire date.
• One year of nursing experience in a hospital acute care setting is required.
• BLS Certification is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in a hospital acute care setting preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Pay

Hourly Pay Range: $41.28 - $66.05

Schedule

FT Night Shift - (Hours: 7p -7a) Weekend & Holidays - per department guidelines.
