About the role
Provides direct nursing care in a hospital setting within the Post Surgical unit, ensuring patient safety and well-being.
Responsibilities
- Implement and monitor patient care plans, recording and communicating patient conditions effectively.
- Act as the primary coordinator among healthcare disciplines for seamless patient care.
- Follow physician and nursing orders accurately.
- Assess and coordinate discharge planning with the healthcare team.
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse license from the applicable state nursing board.
- BLS certification obtained within 1 month of hire, with American Heart Association or Red Cross accepted.
- Diploma from an accredited nursing school or equivalent professional licensure.
