$38.20 - $57.30 per hour.

Where You’ll Work

Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist – Lexington Medical Surgical & Telemetry (Unit A). Unit A is a 45-bed Medical-Surgical and Telemetry unit providing comprehensive care for adult patients with diverse medical and surgical needs, including those requiring continuous cardiac monitoring. The team fosters a collaborative, supportive culture grounded in patient safety, evidence-based practice, and compassionate care. Unit A is distinguished by its commitment to professional growth, teamwork, and advanced telemetry capabilities to manage complex conditions.

Requirements

  • Graduate of a Board of Nursing–approved nursing program
  • Active, unrestricted RN license (multi-state compact and/or state-specific as applicable)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Typically 1 year of clinical nursing experience
  • Strong clinical judgment, communication, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)

Responsibilities

  • Deliver safe, patient-centered care using the nursing process, clinical judgment, and evidence-based practice—monitoring patient conditions, administering treatments, and adapting care to support optimal outcomes
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient care and outcomes—promoting safety, maintaining accurate documentation, supporting communication and delegation, and engaging in ongoing professional development
