About the role
Sentara Health and 4W are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join the team at Virginia Beach General Hospital. The RN provides comprehensive, patient-centered care in a dynamic healthcare setting, assessing patient needs, developing individualized care plans, delivering treatments, and supporting patients and families with education and compassionate service. The RN collaborates within an interdisciplinary team to monitor patient progress, make clinical adjustments, and advocate for the best patient outcomes, ensuring safety and adherence to evidence-based practices.
Department Overview
4 West is a 24-bed inpatient nursing unit providing quality care to adult medical/surgical telemetry patients who are acutely ill or injured. The unit specializes in post-operative surgical patient care and offers a supportive team environment with opportunities to broaden your skillset. The location is a mere 10 minutes from the Virginia Beach Oceanfront.

Requirements
- ADN required; BSN or higher preferred
- Virginia or compact multistate RN (Registered Nurse) license in good standing
- BLS certification within 90 days of hire
Experience
Both experienced RNs and new graduates are welcome.

- $7,500 Sign on Bonus for New Grads
