About the Team
UT Health Athens is a 127-bed facility featuring a 24-hour emergency department, designated as a Level IV trauma center and acute stroke-ready facility. The facility includes advanced diagnostic technology, a 10-bed ICU, a maternity unit, a radiation therapy center, and a stand-alone emergency department in Gun Barrel City.
Responsibilities
The Registered Nurse (RN) is a professional caregiver who uses the nursing process to provide and direct patient care for a group of patients for a designated time frame.
Requirements
- Associate’s Degree of Nursing (ADN)
- Current Texas RN License
- BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care
