Registered Nurse (RN) - Med Surg - $41-57 per hour

Role & Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients, including assessment, planning, delegation, and evaluation
• Educate patients and families on health promotion and disease management
• Safely administer medications and ensure compliance with practice standards and regulatory requirements
• Support a patient-centered, healing environment
• Participate in professional development, research integration, and quality improvement initiatives
• May perform duties as Charge Nurse or Shift Coordinator when assigned

Qualifications & Skills

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Current NYS RN license or valid NYS GN permit
• Preferred: BSN, clinical experience in acute or ambulatory care, professional certifications (e.g., ACLS, PALS)
• Strong knowledge of pharmacology, safety protocols, and nursing standards
• Ability to work effectively in a team, demonstrate leadership, and support professional growth

Schedule

36 hours/week, 12-hour shifts, staff employment.
