Registered Nurse (RN) Manager - Full-Time

About the Role

The Registered Nurse (RN) supervises staff, ensures quality resident care, and manages daily nursing operations.

Responsibilities

• Assigns staff duties equitably, supports teamwork, and encourages proper resident care within acceptable timeframes.
• Performs resident assessments, reports concerns promptly, and completes shift reports for the Director of Nursing.
• Communicates any events needing administrative attention and manages staff discipline, responsibility, and accountability.
• Develops staff goals, promotes professionalism, and serves as a resource for nursing personnel.
• Uses sound judgment in directing patient care, reviews and revises care plans, and ensures proper documentation.
• Implements resident and family education, assesses physical, spiritual, and emotional needs, and collaborates with Charge Nurses.
• Maintains knowledge of emergency procedures, safety protocols, and monitors quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Current RN license in the relevant state.
• Two years of supervisory experience in long-term care preferred.
• Three to five years of nursing experience in similar settings.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, lift, and transfer residents safely.
• Manual dexterity, proper documentation skills, and visual acuity.
• Ability to manage diverse activities effectively.

Pay

$63,943 - $106,407 annually.
