About the Role

Oversee nursing staff, ensure proper resident care, and manage daily operations within a healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

• Assign staff duties and support teamwork
• Conduct resident assessments and report concerns
• Manage staff discipline and promote accountability
• Develop staff goals and serve as a resource
• Manage direct patient care using sound nursing judgment
• Review and update care plans
• Deliver resident and family education
• Maintain safety and emergency procedures
• Complete quality assurance activities
• Monitor pharmacy recommendations

Requirements

• Licensed RN in the relevant state
• 3-5 years of nursing experience, preferably with supervisory background in long-term care
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Physical abilities including lifting, transferring residents, and documentation skills
