Eventide Fargo is seeking a Full-Time RN/LPN for the overnight shift (6:00 PM – 6:30 AM). Schedule includes every 3rd weekend and holiday rotation. Shift differentials: $5/hour for overnights, $2/hour for weekend hours.
About the Role
The RN/LPN provides and ensures the highest degree of nursing care consistent with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations, as well as Eventide’s philosophy, policies, and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Assesses residents' health status and needs through physical assessments, observations, and interviews on a continuing basis.
- Plans, implements, and evaluates residents' individualized plans of care; updates and revises plans as necessary.
- Administers medications and treatments, monitoring effectiveness.
- Provides direct nursing care to residents according to established policies, procedures, and standards.
- Documents care accurately in residents’ records per established policies and standards.
- Provides leadership to subordinate staff, including disciplinary measures when needed.
- Ensures subordinate staff complete work thoroughly and accurately within scheduled shifts.
- Provides education and support for residents and their families.
- Ensures adequate staffing levels for scheduled shifts and assists in finding replacements.
- Communicates residents' needs to all care staff on the unit.
- Interacts with physicians, advanced practitioners, and healthcare facilities as needed.
- Updates nursing skills and knowledge through in-services, continuing education, and staff meetings.
- Assists with resident care conferences and orientation/training of new team members.
- Encourages and assists residents in attaining their highest physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being.
- Reports incidents or evidence of abuse, neglect, or violation of resident rights promptly.
- Complies with rules and regulations from the Department of Health and the Center for Medicare/Medicaid services.
- Manages individual electronic timecard on a daily basis.
Requirements
- Active ND RN or LPN license (or ability to obtain upon hire).
- Long-term care experience preferred but not required.
Pay
Competitive pay range: $36 – $40.32/hour for RNs, $29 – $32.48/hour for LPNs, based on qualifications, experience, and location. Shift premiums and differentials included.
