About the role

Full-time RN or LPN position on the day shift (6:00a - 6:30p, 72 hours per pay period). Set schedule includes every 3rd weekend with a holiday rotation. Weekend shifts receive a $2 per hour shift differential.

Responsibilities

• Assess residents' health status and needs through physical assessments, observations, and interviews on a continuing basis.
• Plan, implement, and evaluate residents' individualized plans of care; update and revise plans as necessary.
• Administer medications and treatments, monitoring effectiveness.
• Provide direct nursing care to residents according to established policies, procedures, and standards.
• Document accurately in residents’ records per established care policies and standards.
• Lead and manage subordinate staff, including disciplinary measures when needed.
• Ensure work responsibilities of subordinate staff are completed thoroughly and accurately within scheduled shifts.
• Provide information, education, and support for residents and their families.
• Maintain adequate staffing levels for scheduled shifts and assist in finding replacements when needed.
• Communicate residents' needs to all resident care staff on the unit.
• Interact with physicians, advanced practitioners, and healthcare facilities as needed.
• Update nursing skills and knowledge through in-services, continuing education, and staff meetings.
• Assist with resident care conferences and orientation/training of new team members.
• Encourage and assist residents in attaining their highest physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being.
• Report promptly any incidents or evidence of abuse, neglect, or violation of resident rights.
• Comply with rules and regulations set forth by the Department of Health and the Center for Medicare/Medicaid services.
• Manage individual electronic timecard on a daily basis.

Requirements

• Active ND RN or LPN license, or ability to obtain upon hire.
• Long-term care experience preferred but not required.

Pay

Competitive pay range of $36 - $40.32 per hour for RNs and $29 - $32.48 per hour for LPNs, based on qualifications, experience, and location. Shift premiums and differentials are available for select positions.
