Registered Nurse (RN) - Inpatient Behavioral Health

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care using the nursing process
• Develop and evaluate care plans
• Monitor and document patient conditions
• Collaborate across disciplines for patient transfer, admission, discharge, and psychosocial needs
• Educate patients and families tailored to their age, culture, and circumstances
• Delegate tasks effectively
• May precept students and new staff

Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum of three years of acute care RN experience with behavioral health patients
• Valid Maine RN license or ability to obtain
• BLS certification (MOAB preferred)
• Demonstrate flexibility, critical thinking, problem-solving, and excellent communication skills
• Commitment to ongoing professional development
