About the role
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) for the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) to provide high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities
- Developing and documenting individualized care plans within designated timeframes
- Performing patient interventions with proficiency and age-specific competency
- Verifying orders, medications, test schedules, and consent forms during hospitalization
- Following medication and IV therapy policies, including patient identification, medication administration, and adverse reaction monitoring
- Interpreting diagnostic data and taking appropriate actions, such as notifying physicians of critical lab results
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure quality care
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in Nursing
- Valid Multi-State RN License or equivalent
- American Heart Association BLS CPR certification (within 7 days of hire)
- ACLS and NIHSS certifications required within orientation period for ICU roles
Preferred Skills And Experience
- One year of telemetry experience
- CCRN certification
