About the role
Provide direct patient care to critically ill adult patients in a state-of-the-art ICU facility as a Critical Care Registered Nurse (RN).
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and evaluate patient care plans
- Monitor and document patient conditions
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
- Educate patients and families
- Delegate care to ancillary staff
- Precept students and new hires
- Ensure optimal patient outcomes through assessment and resource management
- Communicate effectively
- Support patient transfer, discharge, and psychosocial needs
- Promote safety, wellness, and work/life balance
Qualifications & Skills
- Active Maine RN licensure or ability to obtain
- At least 1 year of RN experience in acute care preferred
- Prior CCU experience is a plus
- Certifications such as BLS, ACLS, and MOAB are preferred
