Registered Nurse (RN) House Supervisor PRN

A Hospital Supervisor RN at UP Health System - Marquette is a key member of the healthcare team responsible for ensuring high-quality patient care and staff development.
Responsibilities
- Determines, coordinates, and supervises daily staffing assignments and levels.
- Provides direction, orientation, training, coaching, and mentoring to staff.
- Performs or assists with performance evaluations and disciplinary actions.
- Affirms and ensures quality of services delivered and facilitates staff development programs.
- Ensures staff compliance with departmental and organizational policies, procedures, and protocols.
- Performs staff responsibilities as needed to fulfill required service levels.
- Led the handling and resolution of complex issues and complaints.
Requirements
- A current Michigan RN license.
- A bachelor's degree from an accredited nursing school (master's preferred).
- Two years of supervisory experience (preferred).
- Basic Life Support Health Care Provider (BLS-HCP) certification.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification (preferred).
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification (preferred).
Qualifications
Applicants should have a current Michigan RN license and possess a bachelor's degree from an accredited nursing school (master's preferred).
Skills
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential for this role.
