Registered Nurse RN Hospice After Hours

About the Role

Provide expert clinical care, symptom assessment, and management to hospice patients during evenings, nights, and weekends. Work autonomously while collaborating within a values-driven team to uphold the organization’s mission of dignity, respect, and comfort at end of life.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to urgent patient needs and make home or facility visits as necessary.
• Coordinate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless continuity of care.
• Educate and support caregivers, fostering understanding and comfort.
• Document patient interactions thoroughly, maintaining accurate records.

Requirements

• Current valid RN license.
• Strong clinical assessment and symptom management skills.
• Excellent communication and caregiver support abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Demonstrated compassion and respect for end-of-life care.
