Registered Nurse (RN) - Home Health (Days) (PRN)

About the Role

Coordinate and ensure the quality and safe delivery of home health care services. Oversee the provision of home health care services that reflect the Agency Philosophy and standards of home health and nursing care for assigned patients. Ensure quality and safe delivery of nursing care services.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate home health care services for assigned patients.
• Ensure adherence to agency philosophy and standards of home health and nursing care.
• Maintain quality and safety in the delivery of nursing care services.

Requirements

• One year of related experience.
• Working knowledge of standard practices and procedures.
• Valid Georgia Registered Nurse or Multistate Nursing License.
• Healthcare Provider (CPR) certification or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Valid Driver’s License and Vehicle Insurance.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people to create a positive image of Tanner Health System.
• Basic computer skills required.
• One year of experience as an RN II at Tanner or a minimum of 24 months of experience as a Registered Nurse for new hires.
• Pleasant, professional demeanor with a confident personality.
• Proven ability to make independent judgments, displaying emotional maturity and sound judgment.
• Proven ability to organize and prioritize for maximum time utilization.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively with others at all levels within and outside Tanner.
