About the role

A Registered Nurse (RN) in Home Health at Vivie provides compassionate and personalized skilled nursing care to clients in their homes. The role involves direct client care, education, supervision, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct client care, initiating preventative and rehabilitative nursing procedures.
  • Maintain accurate client records and billing using Vivie’s EMR system.
  • Demonstrate understanding of all payer sources and authorization requirements.
  • Complete and document supervisory visits with LPNs and HHAs in compliance with regulatory guidelines.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance and quality care, maintaining the highest standards of care.
  • Communicate effectively and collaboratively with clients, families, physicians, referral sources, and the interdisciplinary team.
  • Participate in team meetings, special projects, or assist in other areas of the organization to meet client needs.

Requirements

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Minnesota.
  • CPR required within 6 months of hire.
  • Valid driver's license and access to an insured personal vehicle.
  • Ability to pass state mandated background check.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English proficiently.
  • Physical capability to perform job duties, including driving to client locations and providing hands-on care.

Qualifications

  • Experience in home health care or related field preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of state and federal regulations relevant to home health care.

Skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in computer systems, particularly electronic medical records (EMR).
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.

Pay

$35.00- $44.00/hour (non-exempt), based on experience, qualifications, and location.

Schedule

Full-time | 80 hours/pay period | Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Additional Details

This role includes supervisory visits with LPNs and HHAs but does not include formal supervisory responsibilities.
