About the Role

Provides leadership in delivering professional nursing care, ensuring patient comfort and well-being. Utilizes the nursing process—assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation—to deliver, delegate, supervise, document care, and educate patients and families. Implements medically prescribed interventions.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate nursing care delivery.
• Assess patient needs and develop care plans.
• Implement and evaluate nursing interventions.
• Supervise and delegate tasks to care team members.
• Educate patients and families about care plans.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing or enrollment in a BSN/advanced degree program with a plan to obtain a BSN within 5 years.
• RN licensure with the North Carolina Board of Nursing.
• Current BLS Healthcare Provider certification.
• At least one year of hospital nursing experience.
• Experience of 10+ years may qualify for grandfathering.
