About the Role
An Acute Care Registered Nurse (PRN) provides high-quality, patient-centered care across Med/Surg, Progressive Care, and ICU units. The RN collaborates with medical providers to support pre- and post-operative care, advocates for patients, and ensures safety and comfort.
Responsibilities
- Assess patient conditions and status
- Perform procedures and administer medications
- Document care accurately
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Requirements
- Minimum of one year RN experience, preferably in hospital settings
- Associate’s Degree in Nursing required; Master’s preferred
- Current RN licensure
- BLS, ACLS, and CPI certifications
- Knowledge of medications, procedures, and equipment for cardiac and medical-surgical patients
