About the role
The Acute Care Registered Nurse (PT) provides high-quality, patient-centered care across Med/Surg, Progressive Care, and ICU units.
Responsibilities
- Assess patient conditions during admission and shifts, reporting changes promptly.
- Perform procedures and administer medications as ordered, monitoring responses.
- Document care accurately and thoroughly in medical records.
- Collaborate with medical providers to support pre-operative and post-operative care.
- Advocate for patients to ensure an exceptional patient experience.
Requirements
- Minimum one year of RN experience; strong hospital experience preferred.
- Associates Degree in Nursing required; Master’s preferred.
- Current RN license with the North Carolina Board of Nursing; eNLC license may apply.
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, CPI required.
