Overview

Sentara Norfolk General is hiring a Full-Time Registered Nurse for the High-Risk Labor and Delivery Unit. This is a rotating shift position, 36 hours per week. Preferred applicants will have experience specifically in Labor and Delivery.

The Beacon award-winning Labor and Delivery Unit at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital offers a fast-paced, high-acuity, and rewarding practice. The unit is supported by a collaborative team of physicians, resident physicians, maternal-fetal medicine specialists, surgical techs, and administrative staff, providing comprehensive surgical and obstetrical care. The unit is also a teaching hospital for resident physicians, offering hands-on learning opportunities, mentorship, and professional growth. Qualifications

• Education: RN-Associate’s Degree, RN-Bachelor’s Degree, RN-Master’s Degree
• Licensure / Certification: Virginia or Compact Multi-State License in good standing, Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 days of hire, NRP within 6 months of hire, PALS within 6 months of hire.
• Experience: Previous L & D experience preferred
