AMG Specialty Hospital - Lafayette is offering up to a $10,000 Sign-On Bonus* for Full Time Registered Nurses, RN for Night Shifts with ICU/LTAC experience and 2 years minimum experience! Shift Differentials are paid for all Night and Weekend Shifts! $10,000 Sign-On Bonus or Tuition Reimbursement is offered as per the terms of an Employment Assistant Agreement with a 2-year minimum commitment.
About the Role
RN's will be responsible for direct and indirect patient care in the long-term acute care setting. Some of the medical conditions that are commonly treated include but are not limited to; Respiratory Failure requiring ventilation, vapotherm, high flow, bipap, cpap, and nasal cannula. Depending on the complexity of these patients, they can require sedation/pain management, pressor management, and cardiac/anti-arrhythmic management. Complicated infections requiring long-term IV antibiotics. Chronic non-healing wounds requiring extensive treatment with wound vacs and frequent dressing changes.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct and indirect patient care in the long-term acute care setting
- Communicate with physicians, CCO/co-workers, as appropriate about changes in patient's clinical condition including results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology
- Respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment
- Perform general nursing duties in all departments with adequate supervision
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Current Louisiana Registered Nurse Licensure unencumbered
- ICU/Critical care/LTAC experience is required for Sign-On Bonus
- Current BLS certification
- Current ACLS certification
- Able to communicate effectively and positively in English, both verbally and in writing
- Ability to read and communicate effectively in English
