About the role
AMG Specialty Hospital - Albuquerque is offering a $15,000 Sign-On Bonus* for a Full-Time Registered Nurse (RN) for Nights with ICU/Step-down experience. You will be responsible for direct and indirect patient care in the long-term acute care setting, including the ability to communicate with physicians, CCO/co-workers about changes in patient's clinical condition, results of diagnostic studies, and symptomatology. Respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment. Perform general nursing duties in all departments with adequate supervision.
Some of the medical conditions commonly treated include:
- Respiratory Failure requiring ventilation, vapotherm, high flow, bipap, cpap, and nasal cannula (may require sedation/pain management, pressor management, and cardiac/anti-arrhythmic management)
- Complicated infections requiring long-term IV antibiotics
- Chronic non-healing wounds requiring extensive treatment with wound vacs and frequent dressing changes
Shift differentials are paid for all Night and Weekend Shifts. $15,000 Sign-On Bonus or Tuition Reimbursement is offered as per the terms of an Employment Assistance Agreement with a 2-year minimum commitment.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Current Registered Nurse Licensure for the State of New Mexico
- Acute care experience is preferred
- Current BLS certification
- Current ACLS certification
- Able to communicate effectively and positively in English, both verbally and in writing
