REGISTERED NURSE (RN) FT NIGHTS

About the role

At AMG Physical Rehabilitation Hospital – Lafayette, we are seeking Full-Time Registered Nurses (RNs) for Night Shifts. This position offers a $7,500 Sign-On Bonus for those with relevant experience in physical rehab or med-surge.

Responsibilities

- Provide general nursing care to patients in the hospital by completing a psychosocial and physical, environmental, self-care, educational, and discharge planning assessment of the patient through interview, observation, and inspection, auscultation, palpitation, and documenting on all admissions per service line policy. - Identify patient’s present and potential problems from information gathered in the initial and continued assessments. - Collaborate with physicians, interdisciplinary team, client, and family in making decisions regarding patient’s need for nursing care. - Initiate problem list within the timeframe established by service standards using approved taxonomy. - Prioritize problems based on the client’s health status. - Establish specific and measurable individualized client care goals. - Develop discharge needs and plans reflective of an interdisciplinary approach and initiated on admission.

Requirements

- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. - Current Louisiana Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in good standing. - One to two years of rehab or med-surg experience or training. - CRRN certification preferred. - BLS certification. - Ability to read and communicate effectively and positively in English. - Excellent interpersonal and positive human relations skills.
