Registered Nurse (RN) Float Pool - Med Surg Seasonal

About the role

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care to patients in various medical surgical units including Adult Medical Surgical, Neuro, Ortho, and Cardiac.
• Adhere to hospital policies and procedures.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings.

Requirements

• Graduation from a qualified, nationally-accredited nursing program.
• Licensed and/or certified in the state of Arizona, minimum 2 years of recent relevant experience in the area of interest.
• Current RN licensure permitting work in the State of Arizona and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Some departments may require additional certifications such as ACLS and PALS.

Qualifications

• Previous employees must have not been employed at Tucson Medical Center for a minimum of 1 calendar year.
• Previous seasonal employees must have not been employed at Tucson Medical Center for a minimum of 6 months.
