Registered Nurse RN Float Pool Days

Shift: 12 Hour Day Shift (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)

About the Role

The St. Mary's RN Float Pool consists of two different levels:

• Float RN Level 1: Responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the care of patients in a variety of specified nursing units. Requires a minimum of 18 months of med/surg/intermediate care experience.
• Float RN Level 2: Responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the care of patients in a variety of nursing units, including specialty areas (Family Birth Center, ED, and/or Critical Care). Requires a minimum of 18 months of med/surg/intermediate care experience and one year of specialty experience (e.g., Emergency, Family Birth, and/or critical care).

Requirements

• Must be a licensed Registered Nurse in the State of Georgia.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Must be a graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Relevant experience as specified for the level.

Degree of Supervision

Accountable to Charge Nurse, Team Leader, Nurse Manager, or Unit Director.
