Registered Nurse (RN) - Emergency Services

About the role

We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Emergency Services department, responsible for providing specialized care in an 18-bed ER unit. The role involves utilizing clinical judgment, critical thinking, and prioritization to care for acutely ill patients with conditions such as respiratory failure and cardiac issues.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the emergency department
• Perform procedures within the scope of practice
• Prioritize patient needs and manage a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4
• Collaborate with ED techs and secretaries
• Ensure safety and quality care throughout the patient's stay

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Current RN license
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications (within specified timeframes)
• Recent RN experience
