Responsibilities

  • Utilizes specialized plan-of-care intervention and serves as a patient-care innovator.
  • Shapes exceptional patient journeys every day and leverages skills and cutting-edge technology to directly impact patient wellbeing.
  • Performs plan of care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, and other medical care activities.
  • Documents patient care provided.
  • Maintains regular and reliable attendance.
  • Participates in performance improvement and continuing education.
  • Provides quality patient care and works flexible shifts or units as needed.
  • Evaluates patient and family learning needs and provides appropriate education based on age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
  • Advocates for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient.
  • Collaborates across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including transfers, discharges, referrals, and psychosocial/spiritual support needs.
  • Assists patients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
  • Communicates patient condition to the care team, physician, patient, and family.
  • Works flexible shifts or units as needed.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • A current state RN license.
  • A bachelor's degree or associate degree from an accredited nursing school.
  • Achieved ACLS, BCLS, PALS certifications.
  • NIHSS test completed within 90 days of hire.
  • 1 to 3 years of RN Emergency Department experience.

  • Wage scale: $42.14 - $78.11 per hour.
