About the role
Registered Nurse (RN) in the Emergency Department with Level I trauma designation.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care
- Coordinate interdisciplinary plans
- Ensure documentation and communication
- Assess patient health
- Develop care plans
- Administer medications
- Respond to emergencies
- Maintain safety standards
- Demonstrate leadership, mentor staff
- Participate in performance improvement activities

Qualifications
- Associate Degree in Nursing (BS preferred)
- Valid NY RN license
- Minimum one year acute care experience (preferably in ED/Medical‑Surgical)
- Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and infection control training
- OHS Fit Test and Annual Assessment
- Mandatory certifications upon hire
- Participation in unit‑based quality initiatives

Schedule
