We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) for the Emergency Department to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Developing and documenting individualized care plans within established timeframes.
- Performing patient interventions with proficiency and age-specific competency.
- Providing appropriate emergency treatment as needed.
- Verifying orders, medication reconciliation, scheduling tests, and ensuring consent forms are complete.
- Administering medications and IV therapies following policies, monitoring for adverse reactions, and reporting any issues.
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to promote standards of practice and professional growth.
- Performing related duties to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in Nursing.
- Monitoring experience or EKG course completion.
- Valid Multi-State RN license or equivalent, with licensing obtained within 30 days if applicable.
- American Heart Association BLS CPR certification within 7 days of hire.
- ACLS, PALS, CPI, and NIHSS certifications required within orientation period.
Preferred Qualifications
- One year of experience in acute, critical, or emergency care.
- Additional certifications such as ENPC, TNCC, or CEN are advantageous.
